Eternal Fugitive
A Slice of Life Story About a Boring Person's Mundane Life Becoming Mildly More Interesting
Poorly Written and Pretentiously Pseudo-Philosophic Post-Transformation Furry Cringe
Chapter 3: Inconveniences

Overview over the whole story:
Post-transformation slice of life.A young man in modern day Germany mysteriously and suddenly gets turned into an Avali and now has to live with it. Both a lot and surprisingly little changes in his daily life.
The narrative focuses on post-transformation (the actual transformation itself isn't even described) and follows him through initially dealing with his new body, its senses and needs, and, later on, "normal" daily life.
A handful of other people also transformed into various beings and society is unusually uncaring and accommodating.
Excerpt from this chapter:
It seemed that my initial "journey of self discovery" had well and truly come to an end for now. I couldn't think of anything more to explore and discover right now with just a mirror and my own perception.I got off the chair and briefly inspected the clothes I had strewn about in the bathroom. The socks each had three large holes in their tips and could basically be thrown away. There was no point in stitching them as they were way too large now.
The hoodie looked a bit better. It was torn where the wings pushed through and cut where I cut myself free. However, with some adjustments, mainly cutting the sleeves to be shorter and creating a more possible way to get in and out, it'd make a cozy knee long garment. The hood would probably become mostly decorative. One could certainly cut holes to stick my ears through, but I wasn’t sure if stuffing my head crest into a hood would be particularly pleasant.
The vomit I had wiped earlier was far enough down the sleeve to where it would be cut away. Although, there was some blood around its neck, so it still had to be washed.
"My entire wardrobe will have to be replaced," I began to contemplate, "or at least heavily modified. Any actually new clothing I'll have to buy and adapt... from the children's section, ugh. Mom can sew decently well, enough to modify existing clothing, but a proper tailor will be unavoidable for creating good and fitting clothing from scratch."
While thinking, I wrapped the towel from earlier into a skirt around my waist. It was uncomfortably warm from being on the radiator, even though the radiator itself probably wasn't particularly hot, it was only set to 25 °C at most. I prevented myself from feeling its temperature, instead, I just turned the knob to ❄.
"Pants will likely be a thing of the past for me, with the tail and skirt. Same with sleeves and the wings. Then what do I have left without completely re-engineering everything? Skirts? Ponchos?" I stared at my wings. "Potentially as light as possible..."
"Even more stuff to worry about for later. It's going to be expensive and inconvenient no matter what," I wrapped up and left the bathroom.
Word count: I aim for each chapter to have around 5000 words.

Eternal Fugitive will be the only TF-content I intend on creating for the foreseeable future. If you're here from my other art and dislike this sort of content, feel free to ignore this (however, I'm happy if you give it a read regardless).
If you're here only for TF-content, I'm sorry but you won't find anything more than this story in my gallery (however, maybe you'll enjoy my usual art regardless).
