Elora had been recently recruited amongst a band of adventurers to challenge the Dark Empress of the land. An evil sorceress who’s power and influence had grown so vast that she was now invading other Kingdoms.

Before entering the borders of the Empress. The party decided to camp out and prepare themselves for the coming infiltration. The Fighter sharpened her blade, The Wizard studied their Arcane Tomes and the Ranger gave her Canine Companion a pep talk before bed.

When everyone was asleep, Elora made her own preparations. A look into the future with her Crystal Ball. While Divination wasn’t a perfect science. It was very helpful to know just what to expect.

Elora knelt away from Camp and stared into her Crystal Ball. A swirling pink fog filling its glossy finish... and nothing seemed to come up. It was just this pink swirly fog. Was the Empress so powerful as to block her whole kingdom from Divination?

Normally she would’ve given up by now but she felt like she could see it. If she only just stared deeper... Focusing on her future... Letting the Divination take hold... That’s when she saw it. Her future.

Subjugation...
Obedience...
Devotion...

Her future was not to challenge this Dark Empress. She now knew that that was foolish. Her mission was to take these adventurers in to see just how powerful She really was. To see what she had seen. To worship at the feet of the most powerful being of the land.

Morning came and the party all packed up their things. Unaware of the Destiny foretold that night.
