Finally the changes begin to approach Diddy’s head, his voice begins to deepen to match his new appearance, his mouth and nose would begin to shift into a Koopa’s muzzle, his teeth begins to sharpen as two semi large canines begins to grow out of his mouth, his ears begin to shrink back into shrink back into his head and making them into reptilian earholes, his eyes even began to separate as his hat begins to have a significant change beginning to soften and shift into a bandana that’s wrapped tightly to his head as scales grows onto his head as the fur beneath the bandana becomes short and curly as now Diddy’s changes has come to an end as he opens his eyes and Roy gets a look at Diddy’s brownish purple eyes he now has definitely loving the sight of how handsome Diddy now looks and Roy goes up and feels Diddy’s new muscles and even rubs and pats his belly definitely enjoying how his boyfriend now looks, Diddy though is embarrassed by this action though Roy knows there’s just one more thing left that hasn’t happened yet

Yeah well; I guess I was thinking along the lines of, with the Koopa troopas having only green colored shells and Koopa Paratroopas having only red shells. Feeling as though they're more than two Koopas with the same colored shells.
[I'm not actually complaining about it btw, That is by design to make the common enemies (in game) look generic.]
That said, on the topic of the Koopalings; You're right, even their shell color can still make them unique. :)
