Angels A, B and C - Snapshot Gallery (Kaiketsu Zorori)
Well, I have started creating the reference material and was busy taking snapshots from the Kaiketsu Zorori Series 3 DVD that contains the (sadly only) episode they appear in.
Surprisingly, there weren't that many snapshots to take - as common with anime, they often used "standing still" cutouts and only moved the mouths and eyes when they talked. Still, we do have a really nice selection. Angel A has an awesome attack scene where she jump-kicks at Zorori, with a close-up on her face. Angel B has a quite long scene where she is being tripped up, then pretends being hurt to kick Zorori in the guts, the sly kitty... Poor Angel C has the least amount of scenes, but she does a really nice cartwheel attack while slapping with her tail.

Yep, sadly. Most of the episode is about the little ghost (currently animating a metal statue) getting the electric eel back to the lake. Bururu (the greedy capitalist bulldog) shows up early in a wood-curring machine, and introduces the trio as his mercenaries, and leaves them to stop Zorori and the ghost. Zorori throws his cape over the girls' heads to allow the ghost to leave, and then - after a short banter - they fight and utterly beat the crap out of him and Ishishi/Noshishi. As said, it doesn't last long and they cut away to the ghost's story once inbetween. Then, after the girls are mighty pissed off (the two boars just farted in their faces ) and are about to finish off the trio, a giant iceberg appears (they are holding their noses/heads on that pic on the right because they bumped into it), with the yeti sitting on top. The girls, now very angry, jump up to attack, and get frozen solid in a block of ice... and that's the last we see of them, sadly.
Mind you, I could only guess most of what happens, as the episode has not yet been translated by the fan-sub team.

Do you know those kitties are the parodies of an old anime titled "Cat's Eye"?
