In the latest arc we just finished, he wanted the party to find his old business associate, a mysterious man who seemed to have vanished, who also had ties to Nicholyde! I think Amando wasn't a great guy, but he wasn't the worst either, and although he was rude to the party at first, he never had ulterior motives when they worked together.
