Well, I had Sweetheart on my mind, so she is my first drawing of the year. Let’s hope her sunny hue brings good tidings for the new year. I wanted to try a watercolor look for this one. I don’t use this medium much (or at all) but I really like the softness it gives an illustration. I think this will work especially well with my colorful girls. Actually, this could be nice for the kids in my series, too. Anyway, I hope you like it and here’s to a new year. We got this, guys!
