Last, but certainly not least, we're at the home stretch of the Capricorn Cat Rainbow, and wrapping it all up is without a doubt one of the best Sonic characters and possibly the best Sonic girl of all time. You know her, peeps, it's Blaze the Cat, and what appropriate timing as we're now on the year in which Sonic Rush, the game in which she made her debut, will be seeing its 20th anniversary! Blaze the Cat, full name Blaze Kirsten Elizabeth Felini, was the princess of the Sol Dimension and guardian of the Sol Emeralds. She is shown to possess the extraordinary powers of pyrokinesis, though she initially thought of them to be a curse as she had been bullied (possibly feared) for having such powers. In her debut, Dr. Eggman made off with the Sol Emeralds, and Blaze was on a mission to track them and return them to their dimension, as not doing so on time could result in cataclysmic consequences. She is normally calm and level-headed, but was concealing her true feelings and was even bogged down by her own strict discipline, which played part to her initially withdrawn disposition. It was until she met Cream the Rabbit and Sonic the Hedgehog (though she would challenge him to a battle to stop Eggman and Eggman Nega) that she eventually learned to open up to friendships and accept help when needed. Her personality traits undoubtedly makes her a true Capricorn, and it may seem that the Sonic Rush duology may be playing on that, taking in the fact that Sonic is a Cancer-born as his birthday is on 23 June. Blaze was born on 8 January, 1982, and while she still appears 14 in the games, by present time, she has turned 43. She was also really born in Sonic's world as she was born in the UK, but was sent to the Sol Dimension at the tender age of 3 to begin her career as Princess and Guardian. Eventually after her retirement at the age of 18, she returned to her real homeworld to study dragons and received some mentorship from Sylvester the Cat, and even Penelope Pussycat who she met when she was a little girl. She would marry Tails as they were mutual friends with Sonic, and they both have twins named Firnen and Saphira. True to her colour scheme, Blaze represents the colour violet, said to be defined as wisdom, imagination, and mystery, all of which sounds exactly like her.
