You know, since it's a Triangulate Cobweb Spider. :D

Good memories of having to take cover in a dark tornado shelter smelling of moth balls, sirens blaring outside and ominous storms brewing, as these spiders (or very similar, anyway; brownish widow-looking things) are everywhere. Praying one of them isn't black, which they could be among the darkness.
Very true. From what I remember, all spiders are technically venomous, but only a few have venom that actually affects us, and really the predominant issue with spider bites is not the venom itself, but allergic reaction.
I used to be terrified of spiders as a kid, and still have somewhat of a phobia, but it's much less powerful these days as an adult. I'm as curious and fascinated towards spiders as I am freaked out by them. I sure as hell don't want one on me, but I find them cool as long as they're in a jar or some sort of enclosure they can't get out of, and I've caught and kept a bunch of them as pets, feeding them random bugs I find. I think this has largely been why my phobia has kind of died down, just being exposed to them a lot as pets. I've had a lot of big and creepy ones, like Wolf Spiders, and even venomous (to us) ones like Black Widows and Brown Recluses. Got to watch the former, though, because they constantly make egg sacs and love to hang out directly beneath the lids of jars where you can't see them as you open it up, either to drop food in, or remove an egg sac. I've managed to pretty much settle my differences with jumping spiders altogether, since they prey on wasps, and I've even seen them chase a wasp before to confirm. I hate wasps more, so jumping spiders are something I just accept. Just stay off of me!

I used to be terrified of anything that crawls, insects and spiders xD buuuuuuut well as you can see, things took a 180 degree turn in that regard as I now love them and am fascinated by them. Spiders are very useful to us, they keep insect populations in check and may even prey on other spiders. You're right, all spiders are venomous, they all have venom glands (as opposed to for example harvestmen which don't have venom glands), but the venom is too weak to do anything to us. Just like a bee, it has venom coming out of the stinger, but that venom isn't doing anything to us, an allergic reaction might though, like with any insect or spider bite. Jumping Spiders are adorable, in fact they catch on the quickest when I don't mean any harm to them, sometimes even stand still and look straight at me for me to take a picture when they catch on that I'm observing them. Pretty smart for someone so tiny and definitely among the smarter kinds of spiders. :D Jumping Spiders also don't make webs, so nothing to clean up either. They do have spider string but only use it sort of as a safety rope when they don't make a jump.
Jumping spiders are actually kind of fun to watch, I'll admit. It's like the world is dropping frames as the spider just teleports short distances. Jumping spiders are very fascinating, as you said, they really do have a lot of brain power going in such a tiny body, they have to be one of the smartest creatures on the planet in terms of intelligence to body size ratio goes. And of course, who doesn't love the little mating dances they do? Of all spiders, jumping spiders are the hardest to hate on, even if one doesn't like spiders at all. Seriously, they prey on wasps, of all things! I think that's one spider we can set aside our hatred for just for that one reason alone. I've been bit by a Bold Jumping Spider before as a kid, and can say there's really nothing to be scared of. It's literally a pin prick that just startles you more than anything, and then it just...ITCHES. It burns slightly, and it itches, that's about it. So it's not even like, worst case scenario, being bit by one of those is literally anything overly bad. It's just annoying.
To be fair, the bite happened when I was very little, and was trying to pick the spider up in my fingers. In hindsight, it was very dumb, but I was also like...5. I remember it very well, though. It's kind of a similar sensation to getting pricked by one of those fuzzy cactuses and having all those really tiny annoying needles stuck in you, especially when you don't see one but you can feel that it's there when you rub over it. I remember that being almost exactly what it felt like after the initial sensation of being stuck by a tiny needle. It hurts, but only for a moment, and then it's just annoying.
yeah when picking up a spider, it's best to do so in a way that ensures the spider doesn't get too scared of you x3 and be gentle, of course~ that's not something little children tend to know without learning it :3 in many cases, you can trick the spider into getting onto your hand by its own volition. If you push it to head the right direction, you gotta do so veeeeeeeeeeeeeery gently. If it doesn't see a reason to bite, it won't bite. If it doesn't see a reason to flee asap, it won't flee asap. ^-^
