This guy was fun to design and play. He was born with no arms, was polite if a bit curt and no nonsense, but turned out to be a valuable ally at the end of the story arc. Lativy was born to wealth and nobility, but due to his disability wasn't able to do a whole lot. Luckily he was able to train to become a sommelier. Even more luckily, it turned out the bear was a soothsayer and was able to develop a way of reading the future through wine tasting and spitting it onto a canvas. But then unluckily his home country had a prohibition on alcohol. That hasn't stopped him from telling the future to anyone willing to spend 1000 gold on getting any yes or no question answered, assuming they can keep it a secret. But when the party asked him to seek out the answers to a question about the hidden god Savant, he died! Savant explained it away as a protective ward with an apology, and was able to bring Lativy back to life.
