Blister was probably my favorite character design to come out of this story arc. She was designed to be a villain, but unsurprisingly she ended up something of an ally to the players due to the gang she was a leader of representing a faction of the poor of the city. In fact, Manson Dutch's player sunsetted Manson by having him remain in the city as part of a fling with the tall strong Peacock. Admittedly, part of the design philosophy for Blister came from me having been watching a Youtuber who talked a lot about queer media, and was disappointed how modern queer media often made said queers out to be perfect little saints, and thus kinda boring. So I designed Blister to counter balance that, as a MtF gang leader. The fact that she was a peacock, which have flamboyant looking males that are easy to tell from their females, was by complete chance, and I had to roll with that cause it was too funny to not, even if it was a bit on the nose.
Edit: I will add though, in setting, trans as an identity isn't the same as it is in the west in 2025. It's something we respect in game, given 2/4 of the players are trans IRL, but in the setting no one would ever use the terms trans-woman, trans, transgender, transexual, transvestite, MtF or FtM, etc. It's something we kinda gloss over, why people are perfectly respectful of someone deciding they're a woman instead of a man, which personally I think is fine. Maybe in another game some day I'll create a setting with more modern concepts of bigotry and identity.
