The original idea:
Her hubby, made out with her daughter, he's not the biological father. It was what her daughter wanted though. "But how is that going to work out?" It's going to be so messed up. So, there she is (Trixi) at the bar, not in a good mood, trying to process the problems (feeling down and such). Then her hubby enters and says he wore protection. Which was a relief.
Her hubby knew how messed up it would've been and says he won't do it again. Because it came too close.

The alt idea:
Her hubby hooked up with someone he knew years back. There was something about that character that Trixi didn't like. Like the character is trying to steal her hubby.
(*hubby is Josh)
For Josh to win Trixi back, he'll have to do something really impressive for her.
