The universe of Crossfield has many different organizations. One such big organization that resides in the independent contractor Association isknown as War Maiden.

As the name implies this mercenary group is comprised of only female Soldiers of Fortune. Many of these soldiers are lead in a small group by a ship captain. Most of these small groups work independently from each other so orders are not conflicted by two captains. But if a contract requires more than just one small fruit it's not surprising when war made in Upper leadership combines multiple groups together to complete a job then they act as a standard military. But that is very rare.


The process to join War Maiden is surprisingly simple but extremely hard and sometimes deadly.

You must complete
1 month security detail
Weapons certification for small, medium, and heavy weapons
Piloting certification
Engineering certification
EVA certification
Basic survival skills
Complete 15 Bounty Hunter contracts

After that you could be invited and go through the Pride trials. For many fresh recruits who are joining they must compete against full-fledged members to prove their worth to the organization. Those that show outstanding promise during the trials are given the rank and title captain and form a small unit of like-minded members that have also survived the trials.


So don't let these ladies fool you these are hardened Mercenaries more than a match to kill you for honor, duty and credits.
