[COM] Your Hard Work is My Playground
I know you didn't just sit your lazy butt on the porch for the past two hours, watching me rake up a yard full of leaves. Ignoring squirrels, birds, barking in the distance, and anything else you usually bark at. Being as chill and calm as can be. Then the moment I'm just about finish, NOW you decide it's time to hop up and plow your goofy golden self through every single pile like I was making you a personal playground. Looking quite joyous for such a devious fiend! But... even if I wanted to be slightly grumpy I couldn't be. Too busy being amused and laughing at your antics Prince. If anything, shame on me for the shock given how semi-common of an occurrence this was. Sure, growing up there's a huge dislike of chores, but having Prince nearby during most of 'em brought a certain flavor of fun that never got old. Even if many times it meant more work in the end. Let's just say there was a lot of swiping clothes that I just folded, leading to numerous chases through the house, for one example.
One might say, "If he's gonna do that then make him rake some of the leaves too!" WELLLL I actually tried that once. And Prince's idea of helping was to immediately grab the rake and drag it under the porch. Into his secret lair that my kiddo mind dubbed the "Goldie Lock Palace". And yes I know the famous story is spelled Goldilocks but I specifically named it that because he wasn't too keen on me trying to slide under there. And anytime I would try, his big floofy self would shimmy right up to me and sprawl himself out so I couldn't go any further. So to me he was a goldie lock, hence "Goldie Lock Palace" :D ANYWHO, after about like 15 minutes of trying to nudge him out of my way to get the rake, to no avail, I was summoned by an angry shout of my name by my father. Who thought I was just playing with Prince and not doing what I was supposed to. But ofc, my attempts to explain that I was indeed going to rake the leaves until Prince decided to play Grand Theft Rake fell on deaf ears, and I was promptly grounded for the rest of the weekend... Now THAT weekend in particular I remember quite vividly. But all in the same couldn't ever be grumpy at Prince. He even stayed with me in my room during my weekend sentence so that was nice... or actually hold on a second. So many years later now that I think about it, I think he was just rubbing it in hmmmmmm

My dog (An Australian Shepherd) always does crazy things too and he is the craziest and most lovable dog I know. But I think everyone says that about their own dog. But for me he is also a very special fur ball and I wouldn't give him up for anything in the world. Dogs are wonderful and beautiful. :3
