It's moreso that he's a body elemental that makes him a bit freakish. He mentions later that he's an unusual 'test subject' for that reason. He doesn't succumb to the drugs as easily.
His brother is worse. His brother is the same element, but he's a 'Regen,' meaning he heals really fast and he metabolizes everything super fast. Takes a LOT of vodka to get the guy drunk, and it would take a LOT more tranq to put him to sleep.

i think it's my favorite page so far, face so expressive, and your use of shadowing (the bars and whatnot across his face) is amazing. gives it a lot of depth. pictured reading this graphic novel style and getting absorbed by it. also did a great job with each box. one expression, then the name changed for the doc, then another face haha. if eyes are the window to the soul, then you've captured that and put it in this page =)
Thank you for this wonderful comment! I agree, Grayscale lends itself to a graphic novel format far better than a webcomic format, it should all be read in sequence not in periodic episodes. Hopefully we'll be able to publish it some day.
