This piece was made conceptualizing modern day dragons. For air, I imagined the scales to be highly reflective and somewhat chameleon like. They camouflage using the surrounding sky and clouds to hide as they fly. It's subtle and an idea I want to return to. But for now piece was to build up my trust of digital mark making and not over rendering.
