There are no words to describe how happy I am to show y'all Kashii's new reference.

Kashii is the baby of the Seong'tal family. He's the last child between Jax and Quinn and he's also the one I easily draw the least out of the entire spider family cast.

This has lead friends to assume I don't like Kashii as much as I like the others, which just isn't true but I get why people thought that. The problem with Kashii is that when I wrote him, he was the anchor for developing the other kids, especially as he was the only child who was very stereotypically a "wild child with a heart of gold". I used him as a tool to develop the rest and because he ended up being the baby of the family by many years, as I worked on the others he was always kind of centered around being a toddler - elementary school.

So by the time everything was done, and I was developing him as the last kid to become an adult and his future spouse, I had a hard time reframing him in my brain as an adult. Even when I gave him a story and a hot scary wife. So I love him just as much as I love the others, but my brain still wanted to see him as the kid I first drew him as.

So here's his new bio with a complete design overall. Purposefully designed with things to make him look different, keep his charm, and also have aspects I can't wait to draw again. Now he's a DILF who also looks like a silly goofy goober and I love him now more than ever.

I also really leaned into him lookin more like his mama. Complete with some of the iridescent charm of actual jumping spiders. Now I can't wait to draw his wife's reference omg. ;;
