It's really convenient to have some spare bodies if you can. If one gets damage you can just switch and you can take all the time in the world to repair the broken one. But you can also try out new bodies with new and exciting features. Like this one for example! It's state of the art. So it's lightweight and efficient, has all the cool features! It can also emulate living tissue better than ever before, and since it's a synthetic material you can opt to get it in whatever color you fancy.
I don't think Lux sorta understood just what she signed up for with this one. She just wanted a spare, and a skilled salesperson said she really should go for the best so she did. While she did indeed get the performance she wanted, a few other bonuses was thrown in. Like jiggle physics, and haptic feedback on a level she couldn't dream of. This combination made her abruptly aware that she is now very exposed, literally transparent.
She's not used to people seeing her insides and realized that clothes would've been a great investment BEFORE she left home. Oh well, naked or not she still look really cool.
