This is another one of the late Robert Hill's suits that I've recently been privileged to restore and modele, as you see here n_n
As far as I am aware, she has not been worn since 1992, so that's quite the break!
This one is Leticia the Latex Bat. All of her outfit is original aside from minor repairs, and I'm quite happy she fit so well! I do have to say... I did feel quite sexy wearing this OwO;;

There are a few more vintage suits I am still working on, though they will take a bit longer just due to more being required to refurbish them.

It's a comfort to know that Letecia has been spared destruction, as has Hilda the Bambioid, who I was told was given to the Haku Hasin creator Jerry Collins, whose daughter is keeping Hilda safe. You did excellent to keep Letecia in good hands with this sexy latex wear.
Mostly all fursuits are like this now. Every fursuit from the mid 2000's is now rotting in a closet in the same way. People grow out of the fandom, or get pushed out or kicked out by 16 year old twitter kids, and the stuff just gets forgotten. The Balto fursuits from 1996 are still MIA for the past 30 years. Nobody knows where they are.
You did such an amazing job restoring these! I remember seeing photos of this suit back before FA even existed! Wow! 🥰🥰🥰

oh man, I'm just now excitedly catching up on all this...I've been so curious and concerned about the whereabouts of these costumes. I didn't know until seeing the bluesky posts going around this weekend that they're being preserved and worn! what a relief!
I'm sure you've already got tons of people asking you about the suits, but I would be so interested if you were to ever do a full write-up on how this came to pass. who they went to after Robert's passing, how they ended up in your possession, what kinds of repairs they required and what techniques you used...so many questions!!
I often think about Shiba the husky, one of my favorite early fursuits. I hope we'll be seeing him too eventually.
