Giving Kiki a bit of a job change, moving her from a historian / researcher to an inventor / mechanic type. I found it didn't really work all that well having her read and look at maps lots when I want her to be blind, as I don't want her goggles to be on ALL the time. So I think a profession where she can work with her hands / feet / tail and operate via touch suits her a bit better. I also like the idea of her using her tail as a chair so much, and it felt like it might hurt a lot if it's all flesh/bone, so I think I might have it just be mechanical / synthetic and say she made herself a new one when she lost her natural tail.
