Cherry King Reference
Cherry King reference for 2025.
So we've done Quinn, Hendrix, Gretchen, Kashii, Nabii, now Cherry! Which means I'm officially halfway through the spider fam. Now there's just Turing, Hyun-Jin, August, Anhri, Gregory, and Jax.
Cherry is one of my favorite members of the spider fam, one of my favorite ocs in general, but I've never loved her design. It was fine but I always thought I'd like to have a chance to change her markings especially. So she got a bigger redesign! It may not seem like a lot, but everything down to the grays are better and cohesive to her design. Also these markings make her look like the fairy possum she actually is. She always looked vaguely marsupial but now she has the cuteness and general look of the fairy possum.
Cherry is also rockin the rockabilly vintage aesthetic now.
Unlike Gretchen, who is unconventionally attractive and her strength is her cuteness (looks wise), and Nabii who is hot in a scary goth mommy way, Cherry is just plain attractive. She's got the bod, the hair, the face, and the attitude. She is a gym rat after work and works hard for her body. Until she has her triplets later on, Cherry remains a skinny-hourglass shape.
She is also the extroverted wife of the incredibly introverted and sensitive Turing Seong'tal. I'll either draw her or Jax's reference next. :)
