Obligatory post where I have to draw my pets in order to help me move on.
We lost Nyx, my oldest dog, a week ago. She was 15, and her health was declining quite rapidly after she stopped eating. Her face had gone white with age, and she had lost almost 1/4th her weight in a couple of months. Tests resulted in no answers, but I knew where this was headed. I still dont think my kids understand it. "Why cant we give her more meds, why can't the vet fix her?" You can only avoid the Reaper for so long, and her hourglass was running out.
She was the last of what I called the Fantastic Four to go. The pets we had prior to children. She joins Ash, Cleo, and Comrade. Together again.

memories and feelings resurfacing.
Damn. I am so sorry to hear. I am terribly, terribly sorry.
LOVE is four-LEGGED word.
Am I right in assuming that Nyx had heterochromia, based on this depiction?
