Lost Bunny

So, Wednesday one of my best friends, Helen, died at the age of 23. She meant more to me than she will ever know. She was kind, vibrant, silly, spunky, and a tough fighter. My friends were to visit her in the hospital (she was sick with breast cancer). As we were heading out the door to leave, we got the call -- she didn't make it. We were all shocked because she didn't seem overly sick, but I guess that's how it goes. So, if you're waiting to go hang out with a friend or haven't called one in a while, do it now because you never know how long you'll have.
I was wondering what to do with this card. I had made it for her and wanted to give it to her in the hospital 'cause she was always our funny, sweet little bunny. I never got to give it to her so I figured I would share it and her story with you.
She was my first friend when I had to transfer schools and didn't know anyone there. She walked right up to me and asked me if I was new and wanted to be friends because that's just the type of girl she was. She always had the brightest smile that could light up any room. She helped me through a lot of tough times and I had helped her as well. We were extremely close and I guess I can't believe that I'll never get a chance to see her again. I love you, my little bunny. you will be missed.

I know this might sound odd but dont wear black to the funeral where a color like red or blue or her favorite color.
Cause its more important to celebrate what life she lived more than to mourn for what could have been.
This has gotten me though deaths though it is still hard.
And always hold her memories close so she can still live on in your thoughts.
