If you follow the link there to my posting with the story segment, and open up the 'Huntress (and friends)' folder, there are other pictures of Deedee by other artists, as well as some short stories involving her. The full novel I wrote still needs an editing pass to clean it up; Deedee is three closest thing the story protagonist has to a friend. (Friends aren't a common thing in cyberpunk, especially not for mercenaries.)
