The Bird folk of Tura

Aviar are people with bird features. They have slightly pointed noses, flight wing feathers on the arms, tail feathers, feather covers legs, and large talon feet. Their heights can range from 4ft to 8ft tall depending on the bird type they represent. Aviar are divided into two type. Ones that are capable of flight are resemble Raptors, Parrots, Crows, and Chickpeas. The others flightless types resemble Chickens, Ostriches, Emus, and Penguins that can either glide, jump fairly high, swim, or run extremely fast. Aviar are extremely good at scouting, hunting, and gifted archers that rival the Elfar and Orikin.

Arqiar are the higher breed and evolution of Aviar. Certain feathers on the wings are much more vibrant in color, and depending on the color is what element they may be able to wield. Arqiar mostly occur in the flying types of Aviar, and almost never occur within the flightless types.

Aviar usually live along side Bestra, Pisckin, Phibiar, Kerakin, and Saurkin. The flying types usually hold higher positions and authority, while the flightless are more of the workforce and labor class. Many Aviar are ruled and guided by an Arqiar Duke and Duchess. Some Aviar evolve into Arqiar by going through a Shamanistic and Druid ritual trial. These trials are usually strictly for the flying Aviar, and the flightless rarely receive a chance to test if they can become a Arqiar.
