Retro comic book-inspired Alopex from TMNT. Because as we all know, leotards were all the rage in the 80s!
The colored / redrawn version of the "Retro Alopex" pic that won on the color poll. I ended up redrawing her, and then again I went back and re-drew her head because as has happened before, by the time this pic made it from Patreon to my socials I was not happy with the direction I went with it. I originally was trying to think from the perspective of an 80s cartoon designer who had no idea what an arctic fox looked like other than being a white fox, but in hindsight I decided that was too much of a departure. (Plus it made it look too much like I myself don't know how to draw her!) I also wanted her to have a more serious and intense face since I was going for the mood of a dark and gritty 80s TMNT comic book.
I've also done a color redraw of the other half of the retro alopex sketch, which I opted to do as a separate image, partially because it ended up being thematically quite different from this one, but also since it involves a lot of copywritten logos that I don't own the rights to, so better to play it safe and have it as a separate upload. It came out great and I'm looking forward to showing it to you in the near future!

One of my favorite sketch suggestions for HeresyArt! Definitely glad he reworked on this pic from when the original was finished and posted on Patreon, her head was maybe a little too wide and her smile came across as “friendly” when she was supposed to be more “deadly” as a ninja. And I even suggested that the sky being red, a reference to the Red Sky Seasons of the 1987 TMNT cartoon! Heresy, if you’re reading this comment, you did a Great job on this!
