Again, I don't know exactly what happened to Gloria, but the fact that Alexander didn't look surprised or sad like the rest of them, suggests that he knows something that the others don't, to the point of keeping quiet about it, even to his own daughter; that's interesting.
Another interesting thing on this page is what Mira said about Luna and the magic in that world (first panel, at the top), which is this: “She just made the wall between our world and the spirit world thinner, so magic could seep through it.” I'm not sure, but I have a feeling it has something to do with Chaos in some way.

And i think i know, why Lily is so... cold towards her father. At least in theory.
It surely has something to do with Gloria. Maybe she and Lily were in danger and he was only able to save Lily or something and Lily is now mad at him that he, as a god, couldnt save her mom.

The reason Alex is quiet could be because his wife/lover's time was up, and he knew it. It could also be because he sees people coming and going so often that it's easier for him to deal with it. Another reason could be because he can cross betwen the realms, there are many possible reason for him to be quiet. Alex's daughter probably doesn't know who her father really is.
It's vaguely possible--but I'm just speculating--that Lily is actually much older than she appears. Alexander and Gloria could have gotten together decades ago. He is a god, his daughter is a demi-god...but Gloria was mortal, and grew old, and then died. Slow-growing Lily had to watch her mother age and wither, and her father--a GOD--could do nothing to stop it, because that's how mortality works. So Lily holds a grudge because he let her mother die.
This is why I don't like immortality. I've had to watch too many short-lived pets get born, grow old, and die. I've watched my parents and grandparents grow old and die. Now I'm watching my friends grow old and die.
It's hard. And if you have God-powers, but can do nothing, that must be a very bitter pill to swallow. Especially for a godling child.
