A prototype set of Gengar ears... they're rough since I was experimenting with how to do them, but I think they turned out rather nice for a prototype. The left ear definitely turned out better than the right, since I used the right as the experimental ear to figure out how to pattern the left.

I may also change the shape a bit to more match Gengar's actual ears... Probably wider at the base and straighter around the edges... and I'm not sure about the inside of the ears. I wanted it to look more plausibly naturalistic, but would it look better if I simply did Gengar's canon head-spike ears instead? Any thoughts?

These are made with felt (since I have a crap ton of purple felt lying around waiting to be used in my Lord Kass fursuit's wing feathers), but for future ears I'll either be using velour or fleece.
