I know my main focus should be on Basil and Carolina but I keep getting drawn to the Night Sky. The colors look absolutely gorgeous contrasting with all the grey and black of the buildings. Lovely work. Also not sure if this was intentional, but the fact that the sky vanishes from the 4th panel onward when Carolina sounds so tired and seems to be short with basil with the whole "I'm Tired. do we really have to do this today?" just kinda makes it feel all the more depressing, like she really did get all the color drained around her. Again, probably reading too much into it but that's just something I thought was interesting.

TLDR: Lovely background work, mesmerizing sky.

This is actually what I intended and I'm glad it came through! p_p Nobody ever appreciates the effort I put into backgrounds so I super appreciate you actually posting about it thank you!!!
