Koldsteel :)))
Alt pose cause I could not make up my fucking mind on the head angle.
Short story just because I had it stuck in my head and I kinda felt like it I guess. IDK I'm not a writer lmao.

Short story I guess.
The cave seemed to have simply opened up the day he found himself wandering into it's mouth. It was as if the faint blue glow, barely visible from the shore, had called him to approach. Normally he'd have probably thought better about clamoring into a strange, apparently newly-formed seaside cave at night, but he somehow felt compelled. Perhaps it was sheer curiosity that drove him to seek the source of the eerie blue light, perhaps it was something altogether more untoward. Whatever it was, it soon wouldn't matter.
As he pushed further into it's depths, he struggled to keep his footing. Clad in nothing but a pair of swimming trunks, he had no source of light, and could only navigate by the dim glow that gradually became brighter the farther in he delved. In fact, the difficulty of traversing over the uneven surface might have discouraged him from even attempting to navigate into the cave at all were it not for the fact that between the stalagmites there seemed to be an almost intentional path, just unobstructed enough for him to shimmy through.
He made a mental note of the stone that comprised the cave. It too, seemed to make it's traversal easier, although it also drew his attention to it's peculiarity. Dark, grey-black, with an almost oily texture not unlike coal. It helped his feet gain purchase over it's smooth surface, but he raised an eyebrow at it's make, not seeming to be of any natural stone he could name.
It was one of the last unique observations he made about his surroundings, for he did not notice the change in the path he was taking as it became more deliberate, more open and free of obstacles the deeper he traveled, seemingly encouraging ingress. Neither did he notice the change that was taking place within him the closer to the light's source he came. His figure had began to grow ever so slightly, easily using some of the shorter stalagmites to balance himself as he neared what was becoming the only thing on his mind; the source of the blue light and surely his goal.
The fixation on getting to the heart of this cave and discovering the light source had increasingly drowned out all other thoughts of concern, any notion of turning back. Yet as he came upon what seemed to be the last of the obstacles in his path, a steep downward angle from which the glow was shining a radiant cerulean, the thought of reversing course resurfaced. What if he was unable to climb back out? Who knew he'd even entered in the first place? Would they find his beach tracks and put two and two together if they came to search for him? What if the light source was dangerous, something radioactive? No. He'd sort that out after he'd seen what he'd come all this way down for. He had slid his way down and began to enter the chamber where the light was radiating from.
Whatever thoughts about his safety that were still in his mind completely evaporated the moment he set eyes on the light's source. In that instant, everything changed. The man was no more. This was home now. This was his temple. Uncanny pops and cracks echoed through the cave. The swimming trunks fell to the floor as they slid off his growing form, liberated by the tail that had erupted from his back side. The blinding light bathed his naked form as he stood, basking in it, reveling in his new self, in his new form, his perfect form. His lips split into a smile, revealing razor sharp, triangular teeth the size of piano keys. He understood now. He knew why he needed to see it. He knew that humans must see it. He knew that others must see it. Everyone must see it.
The beast turned around, seeing the finned shape of the shadow he now cast upon the cave walls. The toothy smile stretched even farther across his face. It was as it should be. Yes.
With eyes glowing the same deep blue light that illuminated the cave, he made his way effortlessly up out of the chamber with the light at his back, retracing the man's path into the cave, but with unnatural fluidity. His balance was impeccable as his tail slithered silently between the stalagmites of black, oily stone. What was climbing it's way out of the cave was no longer the man who had clumsily fumbled his way inside. He was something more, and he would share this discovery with as many as he possibly could.Shark TFs just make for fun themes and references IG lol.
