Where wings are useless, Kai usually relies on her Ariadne Train, a river of ruffles from her waist trailing all the way to the start of anything maze-like, such as the Twitching Thorn Forest, the circular forest that protects the home of Delia the Wasp Queen, Kai's rival. Kai always grumbles whenever she has to traverse the forest because the thorny branches are always positioned to snag on Kai's dress. While the dress is indestructible, it's still an inconvenience for our poor Queen Bee.
