“When Afton first landed in the realm of Warhammer Fantasy, the first race he encountered were the Ogres, who took him to their leader to be prepared for the feast in a week’s time. However, Afton listened to their talks, hearing details the Ogres thought too stupid or worthless to keep hush-hush.
The day came for Afton to be thrown into the sweltering cauldron of horrors, when he shouted out towards the Over-Tyrant, “I challenge you to a Guts Out Match!” Which left all Ogres shocked for a moment before laughter cried out from all Ogres. Afton continued that he will challenge the Over-Tyrant, and if he won and devoured him, he would become the new Over-Tyrant.
While the other Ogres laughed, the Over-Tyrant didn’t: He was furious by this declaration. He shouted to throw the piece of dried meat a blade, which was one of Afton’s swords that had been worn & used like a meager tool. And so the two fought, clashing and slashing, striking one another for minutes at a time. Until Afton pierced the Over-Tyrant’s gut with his blade and slew him. Before the Over-Tyrant could realize it, he only saw what could have been a stretched out maw of grinding metal, sparking blades clashing together and a bottomless pit that was Afton’s deformed maw: A true vision of The Great Maw.
And true to his word and the Guts-Out Challenge, Afton devoured the prior Over-Tyrant with all his might, his body bloating so big it was ready to burst open like so many who attempted the dethroning challenge. However, Afton’s body adapted and changed as he took in the Ogre DNA, causing his body to grow bigger, his muscles to bulk up and grow, and for his gut to grow bigger and fatter. Afton remained a Zonai, but he now had the physique of an Ogre, of an Over-Tyrant.
After the challenge, he did become an Over-Tyrant to this tribe of Ogres called the Swallowers of the Great Maw. However, he didn’t act like an Ogre as he placed down new laws and rules. No one was allowed to consume those of sentience, their food shall be of the finest quality, and they will aid those who are hungering for food.
Yet these weren’t words alone as he taught the Ogres the fine art of cooking, using proper ingredients & seasonings to make the best food out there. And with this training and knowledge of culinary arts, the Ogres began to improve themselves and their craft. Their hunger remained, but waned to fine eating, they gained hearts aiding those in hungering need, and their craft in tools & clothing improved as well, keeping their aprons ready and their tools maintained. Now, in this day and age, they were known by a new Tribe, a new Clan name: The Mighty Chefs of Hylia.
Even after Afton’s ventures in the Realm of Total Wars and the acquisition of the Ogre Hybrid Form, he was able to change back to his normal form at will to be his normal self. However, he, as well as his wife Gorudi, enjoyed the musclegut hubby look he gained from his time there. So he kept the form in his arsenal to use whenever he’s feeling it, as well as any fun he wished with his wife, as himself or his alter ego, Willow~"
