So here is one of the nastier holes I fixed were there was just a massive piece of finish missing. It seems that this epoxy is not really black but more of a light translucent grey which means that if you intend on using it for inlay, you are still going to have to add ebony dust. It is also still a bit rubbery after it has cured for 24 hours. I am not sure if this is the way it stays, but it made sanding The stuff down pretty annoying but not awful. You just nee to cut what you can off with a razor and use a hard block to sand it. I am kinda concerned that if someone shoved really hard on one of these deep fills that the fill might give and not the finish over it which would lead to cracking. It also has a tendency to kinda rub itself out of shallow fills. I ended up doing a lot of touch up with traditional super glue fills. I therefore cannot recommend this glue for this particular application.
The end result was a flat surface however so I can't say that the stuff didn't work.
