Jaida stood above Azroth as he lay on the ground. The light spell obviously doing what it needed to do. Rapier raised high, she prepared to make the final strike.

At that point, an explosion of clattering metal could be heard as a mass of chains swarm towards the witch-knight. Wrapping themselves around the woman, they pull her into town, only to deposit a contract upon her lap. Upon reading it, she learned of what had happened.

She had become the new town guardian, bound to protect the land.
