I always remember the silly little meme about Thoth and how he was also still somewhat revered in Ancient Greece as a god of wisdom.
Where they would write his name Θώθ

Which makes it very believeable some Greek scientist somewhere actually said "Θώθ, what's this?"

They're canopic jars, where they'd stick the organs of a dead person during mummification. Obviously, the canopic jar in this comic is meant to be a drink container rather than a canopic jar, but Anubis is a jackal, a carnivore. It could legitimately be both things.

I just saw a documentary on hierogliphs. Your plurals appear everywhere (the 3 vertical lines). And a lot on "n" (wavy lines) Is this copied from somewhere or just jibberish?
