Alright. Maybe the anthro wolverine was taking it a bit too far. But he's barely in the picture, so. . . I say I get a pass.
This scene based on a very fond childhood memory of. . . some random superhero comic I used to be a fan of as a kid. Can't quite remember the name. Had some letter of the alphabet in it, I think. Fighting giant purple robots is, to me, the epitome of super-hero-ing. You can't get much more black and white. They're robots. . . and they're purple. There's just nothing on earth or anywhere in the universe more evil than that.
My own little representation of the Rocky Mountains in the background there, since this is in fact a piece for Rocky Mountain Fur Con! (website heeeere: http://www.rockymountainfurcon.org/) Their theme this year is 'I Need a Hero'. This piece will ONLY be available to Super-sponsors, and I believe they're actually FRAMING the print of it you receive. So. . . yeah. Get 'em while they're hot :) You'd be supporting the con, and getting incredibly geeky, anthro superhero artwork for your wall. Win win.

First hit on Google for "Wolverine" but you don't know what comic it's from? That's so weird to me (knowing a specific design/character name, but not knowing the canon they're part of).
