The Goran people was an earlier attempt at creating an entierly barbarian race for the setting of SOL in Atheria.

Sol stood for Swords of Legend. a self contained setting that pitted 4 nations against each other with 4 distinct races for the players to choose from.

there were many interations for other races as well and while the Goran was an intresting idea the Demdradin took over the role of the best warriors in the land of SOL.
But the Goran still have their place. and ill talk about them now.

the by produce of an Earth Dragon and a Minotaur, sort of falling in and then out of love. produced a race of barbaric beings known as the Goran. they inhabted the southern mountains surrounding SOL and are a hybrid speices, with both minotaur and draconic aspects and traits in their geneology.

cloven hoofed and scalie, they sometimes resemble demons. however they have more common with their parent speices retillia. they are also effectively Blind and have a strong sense of Tremorsense. while they cannot see, they can Sense throught movement in the ground, and feeling vibrations. they are also Ritual Cannibals. they'll literly eat anything or anyone. This canblistic nature is partly the reason why most other races in SOL do not venture alone into the Goran Mountains. as if caught alone a band of Goran will see you as food and try to eat you. so be careful.

i dont have much eles for them. their brutal, savage, and very stupid, they are your atypical barbarian race with very little regard for other speices. um. thats it.
