I'm working on a short manga for a manga writing/drawing course I'm teaching middle schoolers. A fake manga/anime appears as a very minor plot point in the story. A character notices a bag charm on the schoolbag of a classmate and they talk about anime/manga.

So, I had to make a chibi bag charm. I LOVE some capelets and hoods and lolita outfits. I also love Kemonomini so, a wolf kemonomimi magical girl was born.

Then, because I was me, I had to do a regular character drawing and make up a name. This is Kasumi-chan from Tales of the Wolf's Daughter.

I figure she's one of those magical girls who travels around fighting injustice and her storyline, while silly, has more angst and character building than it should. I haven't written anything yet but, if I did, that's how it'd go.

She's fun to draw so, you may see her again. May even make some stickers, perhaps...
