Wheres the handlebars..? The Engine just turned on when i sat on it...Is it mind controlled?
I would put ATV in the tags but honestly, I'm not sure this counts. Today officially marks 8 years since I started building in brick rigs, and this 'four-wheeler' specifically, is now 8 years old. Crazy to think how far both the game and I have come since I made my silly little four-wheeler. Especially how I went to building mostly cars, tanks, whatever vehicles I could think of really, to building little guys that may as well be blender models.
This really has me thinking about this whole thing, like what if I never found Brick Rigs? Part of me wonders if I would even have a vague interest in learning blender if I had never found this game, if I had never gotten into it. I spent a lot of my time during 2017-2020 role-playing in this game, and a lot of friends came and went during that time. I had always felt like it was weird to be rping, so I never really shared my interest with friends I had outside Brick Rigs, which I guess might be why I stopped, aside from the community.
Without Brick Rigs, I probably would have been much more hesitant to embrace my furryness, to be honest. I know there was a time that I was close to disliking furries altogether, but through introducing me to rp servers, I eventually started playing a game on roblox called Wolves' Life 3, only ever in it for the rp. I think this introduction to furry-adjacent media is what made that never happen, and I don't think I would have played it if it weren't for Brick Rigs. I stopped playing it before I learned anything much about the furry fandom besides maybe a few mentions, but it still gave me a start to my appreciation, I would bet. It's also what made me interested in storytelling.
I never expected this game to become one of my number one forms of self expression, even now that feels wrong. It's just a silly lego game, how could it have grown to mean so much more than that? For me, this four-wheeler has come to signify the start to the real me, so even as terrible as it is, I'm very fond of it. If you have BR and want to see it ingame, it's on the workshop, found here.
Anyway, sorry for the rambling. The realization that it's been 8 years has just caused me to have a lot of thoughts. Here's to another great year of BR! :D I've got some fun plans!

Happy anniversary!!! Really makes you think that if you never got into Brick rigs, never explored and had fun, never joined FA and never posted that ONE day where i saw your post, we would have not been buddies o~O Just for that, i love BR so much ^^ i hope BR treats you nicely in the future and i hope that you continue to learn and grow in both yourself and BR.
