Don't mind me. Just passing through with some pokemon arts.
This is Archie, the Bipolar Archeops. Spent an hour cycling through fossils trying to get a jolly one... only to find out she never grows out of being a defeatist.
Shame that considering how she can hit like a damn truck when she feels like it...
Part of my final group... as well as a subgroup I dubbed the Desert Trio (Archie, Scrafty, and Darmanitan... bros for life).
It was a quartet for a little while... Sigilyph being my dedicated flyer as well as my obligatory psychic (I always had a misplaced affinity for the type, it turns out psychic type was just overpowered in red and blue)... but as soon as Archie evolved I had to let it go. That and I saw lvl 55ish metangs in the wild and felt like going severely IMBA at that point.

well, I know I already stated it in this place, but I'm gonna repeat it here.
"my friends have agreed that mine, bred as well with EV, IV, and right nature, is one of my scariest pocket monsters because it does pack a punch. I try to balance the defeatist with a citrus berry... works most of the time. "
I wrote that a moment ago. For real, that's not that dangerous of an ability

That matters little to me :| I'd rather use something much more useful and permanent than a damn Sitrus Berry. They made it really fucking powerful just to gimp it with a terrible Ability. They pulled the same shit with Slaking and Regigigas. Those two were just far less cuter.
hehehe, well, considering the type of battles I have with my friends, we tend to take out each other in single hit XD
also, this pokemon learns endeavor. With the speed it has, endeavor is a nice cake topping... know what it does? enough damage so your weakened cute fossil's HP is now equal to your opponent's. With endeavor you can still secure a one-hit ko with your next pokemon. Also, in double battles, you can try gastro acid or skill swap with it.

Yeah. I got the Swat Turtle last go-through...but now I'm going to use Archeops now that I know it has legendary-sized attack and speed points.
It'll be my flier, too, since my starter was Snivy (now a Serperior), and I'm going to also have Mienshao, Zebstrika, Krookodile, and I haven't decided on a water type yet.

believe it or not, defeatist is not such a bad ability...

I hope you got the legendary in that part!
You know, when it learns blizzard boost the pp up, and equip it with a "Never Melting Ice". Teach it "Ice Beam" and you will have your self a strong ice pokemon.
I found the spot as soon as I had "Strength". That pokemon still hasn't left my party.
