Well you can consider this a pseudo-sequel .... After getting hold of the Chaos Sphere, my evil character absorbs its power in order to impose his domination upon the land, leading to a cult following.
This picture caused me A LOT of problems X__X
Namely the architecture and all the lighting / shading. If you look closely you'll see some traces of my struggles .... Colors were also a problem, I kept drawing the scene too bright. I increased Contrast to make it darker, but it rendered the traces of my struggles more visible :(
Drawing the 2 Cultists on the sides was more trouble than you'd think too.
The whole scenery was inspired by a level from a Duke Nukem 3D mod called "BDP The Gate". Episode 3, Level 3 which takes place in a sort of temple and there is a room like this, a great hall with a huge throne, firery pits and the Eye above.
