She reclined in her seat, holding her cup of hot cocoa as she listened to her Hound on the audio feed. The poor thing was growling, whimpering like a feral beast through her mask. Nanaki recognized the feeling well, having once been subjected to the gas herself. But she knew her Hound, and she knew they would finish the mission together and the Hound would come home safe. She took another sip of her cocoa, then leaned into her earpiece to talk.
"Crawler on your six."
She looked back to the live feed. The mech twirled itself and crushed the smaller mech behind trying to perform an ambush. Nanaki licked the sweetness off her lips.
"Good girl."
Her Hound responded with a howling whine. Nanaki glanced at the indicators on the screen. Her Hound had administered another burst of the gas. Nanaki raised an eyebrow at that. Was this poor dog going to use the whole tank again? She sighed, pursing her lips as she kept her eye on the live feed...

 Petfawx came up with this wild mecha AU concept featuring our characters, with Dreamy being a mech pilot and Nanaki being a former pilot tasked with handling her! You'll see this is a very different take on Nanaki but exciting all the same~
