Heya!
This has been a random issue of late. It's not just for the people of the US, I know that some in the UK had some issues and some resorted to getting a VPN to bypass it. I myself, despite being in the US, had to use my mobile hotspot for a little while to access it until I moved cities. I have no idea why it's like that.
Did you try resetting your router as well? Sometimes that does it.
