I thought to just upload a tune idea for a solo piano piece. I feel its hard to come up with something decent, always feel like they're so "monotone" and bland cuz my playing style is usually just octave bass with my left and the chord/melody with my right. NEED MOAR PRACTICE....

Bass parts can be pretty awkward to write; I tend to start off with something consisting of octaves too, then elaborate later once everything else is written.
Anyways, this is pretty damn good; the melody is smooth, emotive and original; I'm tempted to say you should work on it and develop it further into something grand, but it stands up on its own as is.

Hmm indeed! I usually just make the bass accompany the melody and chords, sometimes I wish I actually had bass pedals like organs do so I don't have to waste my left hand on 2 notes lol!
