A beast-type Digimon who holds the data of video games, similar to Gamermon. However, while Gamermon has the data of the player character of video games, Rivalmon represents the player character's rival.

Unlike the hot-blooded Gamermon who loves to go on adventures, help others, and be friends with everyone, Rivalmon is cold-hearted, only helping others if it gets it what it's after, and is more of a lone wolf. It's because of their conflicting views that they became natural rivals (Much to Gamermon's amusement)

Its fighting style is more brutal, using bouncing ice balls that freeze enemies in place (Bouncy Blizz) and rolling at high speeds, homing in on the target and tearing through them (Roll Ripper)
