With all the excitement that Sonic Crossworlds has brought, it was only a matter of time before I decided to tackle some of those rival interactions with some of the OCs in our little sphere here and what better way to start than with a character that's been on my mind for months, that being Tilver from the artist SilverTilver/4lifeTilver over on Twitter! Any long time fans are aware I've used the character in my own little "Team Futa" idea and the ideas really started flowing when SilverTilver told me that Tilver is very very strong and also not very smart. Which made me create a version of the character that was strong, a little dumb, but had a really big heart and always did her best to be kind and that's what I wanted to capture in each of the interactions here. OCs in this sphere are generally used as vessels for smut basically, Valentina is no different, but as time goes on I like to learn more about characters and give the audience something to chew on and luckily Silver's been very happy with these results!

First off, Valentina. She is competitive, but also knows her limts. Valentina doesn't have any special abilities and I wanted to emphasise that with her fearing the idea of competing with Tilver's strength. However, Tilver also understands this and with her being so kind she'd never endanger a friend in such a way. A lot of the friendlier interactions in Crossworlds helped to inspire this little convo and I really wanted to capture the heart of gold angle in this interaction particularly.

Mona, owned by Nackey/Nacker (a great mutual artist!), is another character I've created my own vision for using previous work. Mona's the brains of Team Futa and often questions Valentina's leadership and ideas which causes Tilver to intervene and find some common ground before the two fiesty futas burst out into a heated argument! They're all still friends, but a competitive streak runs deep with Mona and Valentina respectively, probably because they're both not as strong as Tilver! I wanted to capture the ditzy part of Tilver with Mona's interaction, with Mona's sly diss at Valentina going completely over Tilver's head as in her mind they're all equal!

Valencia was an interesting one, as I initially had no idea how they'd interact aside from Valencia viewing Tilver as "one of Valentina's little friends", that was until I remembered an animation SilverTilver did of Valencia and Tilver in an office space. I immediately thought "that's it!" Tilver's Valencia's intern and helps her out with her photography work whenever she can. The work isn't that common and the paychecks aren't regular, but it gives Tilver enough of an income where she's happy to live off of that money. Leaving Tilver to do other activities such as volunteer and help around the Chao Garden (an idea thats popped up in a previous art piece).

Lastly, there's the big one. Silver, Tilver's initial genderbent form, now Tilver's full on brother! A couple of my mutuals have male versions of their OCs and genderbent OCs don't really do it for me. Once I've seen the initial character, that's it for me, that's who they are and seeing them as the opposite gender never does anything for me. However, the subtle design changes of Silver intrigued me and I discussed this with SilverTilver about them being separate characters. I put forth the idea of the name Silver as they're username is SilverTilver, what does the Silver mean? It just made sense to me and we continued to discuss the idea with SilverTilver saying they had a Spongebob and Squidward dynamic which immediately got the gears turning in my mind. The professional and uptight brother vs the ditzy and kind-hearted sister, shit writes itself! And one of the tidbits SilverTilver gave me was Tilver being a jobless bum basically and what better dynamic to have than a brother that only wants his sister to get up off her ass and support herself! This is kinda contradicted with the Valencia intern thing, but with the work being infrequent I think he'd see that as a negative and not a "proper job". And with struggling to give her a fourth interaction, I thought finally introducing this vision of Silver was the next best thing!

A lot of yapping in this post, but since InkBunny cracked down on 3D artists AGAIN, I thought I'd yap away on here now to give more of my thought process behind my decisions in this piece. In the end, I'm super happy with the results and the reaction to these pics! I'm looking forward to doing future characters, but for now, this may be it as I do have a comic to finish. This was a nice and welcome change of pace from staring at only Sonic and Blaze for the past like two months!
