Here is another Christmas Carol-inspired picture. This time, this is based on a scene from Mickey's Christmas Carol. This picture shows Wacky Weasel from Bonkers digging Ebenezer Scrooge's grave with his sister, Wendy. I gave them the same clothes as the weasels from the actual movie.
Wacky: I never saw a funeral quite like this one.
Wendy: Aye. No mourners, no friends to say farewell.
Wacky: Oh well. Let's go take a break. He ain't going nowheres.
Both: (Laughs)
Now, for anyone who has seen my last two pictures of Michael Crane as Scrooge and Eli with Hazel as Bob Cratchit and Tiny Tim, I think this could fit in with that adaptation as well. Of course, those last two pictures were inspired by the Muppet Christmas Carol, which didn't have a scene of anybody digging Scrooge's grave, but it did have a scene of some characters selling Scrooge's belongings. I can imagine that scene involving Disney's weasels. Perhaps Wacky could be the businessman buying those objects, while Wendy and many other female weasels are the ones trying to sell the belongings.
Another thing I had thought of would be some alternatives to who is portraying Scrooge. First, there is Michael Crane, who is being shown his grave by Nick and Gazelle (in a totem) from Zootopia dressed as the Ghost of Christmas Future. Another alternative would be a Song of the South portrayal with Brer Fox as Scrooge and Brer Rabbit (and maybe Miss Possum is doing a totem with him) as the Ghost of Christmas Future, and another would be a Robin Hood version with Prince John as Scrooge, while Skippy (with Marian's help in a totem) as the Ghost of Christmas Future. I think I would go with Michael Crane in this portrayal.
Wacky Weasel is (C) to Disney.
Wendy is from KendraEevee.
