Flown by Lieutenant Rai Himei of the Terran Freedom Air Force and Sergeant Susan Ross of the UEDF Volunteer Team, August 2039. Attached to the 16th Air Cavalry, A220 series is a modified Arumon AV-44 Washi which superseded the highly successful Boeing/Bell V-22 Ospreys. Success of the V-22 production program during the early 1990s led the way for more advanced versions. Although the A220 series include ejector seats for the pilots and loadmaster, most of the features still reflect the design originated from the United States.
