Rhodes the Treecko is a Horizon Walker Ranger. Horizon Walkers are Traveler of realms who seek out portals and rifts in the realm to pursue their foes or to stop dangerous creatures from coming through. Also as a result of this, he can literally ride out into the horizon and disappear in the sunset like the classic cow-boy movie trope.

Rhodes is an adventurous frees-spirit and radically accepting of the strange and otherworldly regardless how strange it seems at first glance cause that's the way of a wandering traveler. You go to new places, see new things, people, and different ways of life that are not your own, but that is their normal, and then the more different norms you experience the more colorful it makes life.

Rhodes uses his magic lasso to make his own portals allowing him to cross realms himself or capture and banish otherworldly creatures back to their own home ream. The Whip and the Lasso are also able to extend to incredible lengths to reach further distances or capture creatures of greater size.
