Sage is a Turtwig Animist Custodian of the Groves and Gardens. The Animist is the connection point between the realms of the material and the spiritual bonding with the various spirits that already exist in all the world around us and allowing their power and voices to flow though them. Animists who speech for the Groves and Gardens channel the power of nature through them and act as a bridge between the civil world and the wilds caring for all things green and growing be they a mighty old oak or the farm that feed thousands.

Sage is a Taoist who believes that we are at our best when we flow with nature, not fight against it, therefore he aspires that there should be less of a divide between Nature and Society. We ARE Nature, and we can not live completely apart from it, so he helps plan ways to integrate nature into major cities and to help nature thrive among society without either interfering with the other.
