Anipi is a Riolu Summoner of the Psychopomp Eidolon.
Hold on! What is a Summoner and how is it different from a Conjuration Wizard?
The short of it, is a Summoner is Not a Wizard who specializes in teleporting a bunch of things to them. A summoner has a personal connection with one specific Magical entity called their Eidolon.
The Eidolon can be any sort of creature: a Demon, a Ghost, a Fey, and a whole lot more, but they are also more than just a companion that the summoner can call up for help, What makes an Eidolon special is that rather than the Eidolon and Summoner being 2 different beings who work together they are more like 1 being with 2 bodies that can each specialize in different methods of combat like one being the physical fighter while the other casts spells.
Anipi was the Princess of Emperor Ozymandias nearly 3000 years ago, but while her father was away establishing his empire Anipi died young from illness and was mummified. Her Father at the end of his reign sealed himself along side her but could be awakened from his sealed state if he was needed again to restore order to the world.
In the modern era he was awakened and became the Emperor Arcana and Leader of the 7 Virtues, waging a war with the new world to try to recreated his united empire and stand as a safeguard against the oncoming threat of an old threat who was also sealed back in his time starting to wake up again. Meanwhile behind his back, archeologists from Galar discovered his reopened tomb and stole the coffin of his daughter to take back to their museum...and maybe want to eat a mummy (Cause that was a thing that the Victorian elites did! They ATE most of the mummies!)
But before they could do anything to her body she was re-awakened and revived to a living state giving her a second chance at life with the condition that she serve as the Summoner to a Psychopomp spirit who's duty is to shepherd other souls safely to the spirit world. Anipi is happy to accept her duty and her chance to live again means she can meet her daddy again.
